The Obama Administration and\u00a0so-called leaders in\u00a0Congress have gone to great lengths to\u00a0portray opponents of\u00a0 government-run health care in a negative light.<\/p>\n

Taxpayers\u00a0who have turned out\u00a0in\u00a0large numbers\u00a0at town hall meetings across the country\u00a0have been labeled AstroTurf.\u00a0\u00a0 Senator Barbara Boxer has implied the protests are “staged” because the people doing the protesting are “well-dressed.”\u00a0 And in an op-ed in USA Today<\/em><\/a>, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer\u00a0have gone\u00a0so far as to call the\u00a0hard-working Americans\u00a0who have chosen to exercise their First Amendment rights to\u00a0peaceably\u00a0assemble and\u00a0petition their government… “Un-American!”<\/p>\n

So let’s get this straight, when Left of Center organizations and\u00a0Big Labor Unions pay<\/em> professional protesters to turn out and support their agenda, that’s the American way.\u00a0 But when\u00a0hard-working\u00a0Americans\u00a0who are frustrated that their elected officials won’t listen to them speak up in opposition to a major piece of legislation, that’s un-American?<\/p>\n

Well,\u00a0here’s what\u00a0the mother of government-run health care, Hillary Clinton, had\u00a0have to say about such criticism of civic participation\u00a0back in 2003?<\/p>\n
