Patents Critical to America's "Special Century" of Growth

Over at American Enterprise Institute (AEI), James Pethokoukis wrote a fascinating piece, "America's Forgotten Prelude to Its Special Century," in which he explains what led to the century during which America became the most prosperous, powerful and innovative nation in human history between 1870 and 1970.  "Yet America's special century," Pethokoukis notes, "did not emerge ex nihilo.  The pro-growth groundwork was laid in the less glamorous decades between 1790 and 1870."

"Since returning to office, President Trump has faced an onslaught of leftist-backed lawfare seeking to grind the implementation of his voters' agenda to a halt. Unsurprisingly, many of these lawsuits have been filed in districts predominated by Democrat-appointed judges, who have been more than happy to issue a myriad of preliminary injunctions and temporary restraining orders blocking enforcement…[more]

Do you believe Hamas’ “defeat” in Gaza will produce a new era of cooperation and prosperity in the Middle East, or will radical Islamists continue the destabilization and unrest that have marked decades of hate, conflict and distrust in the region?
