The Center for Individual Freedom (“CFIF”) today launched a public education effort in Alabama that features a 30-second television ad stressing the importance of conservative judicial decision-making and a commitment to properly interpreting the Constitution in the state’s courts.

The CFIF ad highlights the conservative judicial values demonstrated by Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals Judge Kelli Wise and Alabama Supreme Court Judge Mike Bolin as examples of the type of judging Alabama families deserve.  The ad closes by urging viewers to log on to www.cfif.org/Alabama and sign the petition thanking Judges Wise and Bolin for their commitment to properly interpreting the Constitution and for their high value to the civil, economic and political freedoms of all Alabamans.

The ad, which is being aired across the state, can be viewed below.

“At a time when judicial activism is running amok, conservative judicial decision-making and adherence to the plain language of federal and state constitutions couldn’t be more important,” said CFIF President Jeffrey Mazzella.  “CFIF’s public education effort is aimed at further educating Alabamans on the importance of those principles in judicial decision-making.”
