"TALLAHASSEE -- The Florida Department of State last week asked federal prosecutors to investigate dates that were changed on official state election documents, the first voting 'irregularities' it has flagged in the wake of the 2018 elections.

"The concerns, which the department says can be tied to the Florida Democratic Party, center around date changes on forms used to fix vote-by-mail ballots sent with incorrect or missing information. Known as 'cure affidavits,' those documents used to fix mail ballots were due no later than 5 p.m. on Nov. 5 -- the day before the election. But affidavits released on Tuesday by the DOS show that documents from four different counties said the ballots could be returned by 5 p.m. on Thursday, which is not accurate. ...

"DOS officials have repeatedly told the media that the monitors they sent to Broward County saw no election fraud. It wasn't until Tuesday that the office revealed publicly that it had turned over information to federal prosecutors."

"Almost everything we have seen in just the last three months -- the Kavanaugh chaos, the 'caravan,' the ongoing Mueller octopus, recounting election results until they are deemed 'correct,' the Beto and Gillum neo-socialism craziness, the swarming of a Fox News anchor's home, driving public officials out of restaurants, the media circus at presidential press conferences -- are symptoms of revolutionary America. In this conflict, one side believes it is not only not fair but also not allowable that it lacks the necessary power to make us all equal -- but equal only in the eyes of a self-anointed elite."

"Boxes of ballots magically showing up in the trunks of rental cars in the Fort Lauderdale airport -- cars last rented by Democratic operatives? What is this, a Coen Brothers movie? At least Saddam Hussein had the good taste to be amusing when he was stuffing the ballot boxes.

"That voting fraud that our Democratic friends insist never happens happens quite a lot under Snipes's watch. She has allowed disenfranchised felons and illegal aliens to vote; sent out mail-in ballots in which a proposed constitutional amendment was simply omitted; secretly opened ballots to thwart oversight. Her team doesn't seem to be able to add up votes very quick -- except when they add them up too quickly: In one truly banana-republic shenanigan, her office posted a final vote tally while the polls were still open. "The Florida Senate race is rapidly becoming a clown show. It's been over two days and Broward County, the largest Democratic bastion in the state, is still counting ballots. Counties slammed by Hurricane Michael last month have all tallied their votes. Broward seems unable to do so, or say how many are left outstanding. Broward Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes seems to struggle answering basic questions about this process, even ones required by law. So far, there have been no regular updates. Instead, they're dumping vote totals by the thousands, which has chipped away at Republican Gov. Rick Scott's lead over incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson. ...

"As of now, we're heading into recount territory, with Scott leading by less than half of one percent, but Broward's vote counting irregularities pose questions about whether Democrats are trying to steal this election. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) certainly feels this way, going on lengthy spats on Twitter railing this process. In one polling location, provisional ballots were just left, with no chain of custody. A schoolteacher discovered them after they were never picked up. We don't know how long they were there, and they might be unverifiable at this point. Now, Gov. Scott and the National Republican Senatorial Committee have had enough; they're suing Broward County. Palm Beach County, another Democratic stronghold, is another one where sketchy vote counting is occurring. Scott has already declared victory, but he's also mobilizing his legal team, as Democratic lawyers begin to pour into the state ..."

"Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp, a Republican running for governor, is opening an investigation into the state's Democratic Party for allegedly attempting to hack the state's voter registration system.

"Kemp's office made the announcement in a Sunday morning news release but did not provide any details on why it is investigating the Democratic Party for the failed hacking. The party is being probed for engaging in a possible cyber-crime.

"'While we cannot comment on the specifics of an ongoing investigation, I can confirm that the Democratic Party of Georgia is under investigation for possible cyber-crimes,' press secretary Candice Broce said in the release. She also said the secretary of state's office alerted both the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI.

"Kemp's Democratic opponent, Stacey Abrams, told CNN Sunday that the investigation is an attempt to distract voters two days before the election. Kemp is leading Abrams -- 49 to 47 percent -- in the most recent RealClearPolitics poll."

"President Trump said Thursday that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's threat to weaponize committee subpoena power if Democrats win Congress is illegal and grounds for the administration to fight any subpoena all the way to the Supreme Court.

"'Pelosi says she's going to mechanize the speakership and use it as a great negotiation with the president. That's an illegal statement,' Mr. Trump said in an exclusive interview with The Washington Times.

"The president remained optimistic about Republicans retaining their House majority, but he fumed about Mrs. Pelosi's subpoena threat should her party prevail in the midterm elections Tuesday.

"He said the threat begged a lengthy court battle.

"'That alone takes two years to get it to the Supreme Court -- that statement -- before you do anything,' he said, becoming animated with indignation. 'You heard her the other night.'

"Mrs. Pelosi made the remark last week at CNN's campaign forum.

"'Subpoena power is interesting, to use it or not to use it,' Mrs. Pelosi said in an interview with Dana Bash. 'It's a great arrow to have in your quiver in terms of negotiating on other subjects.'"
