Taxpayers Shouldn’t Be Forced to Subsidize NPR and PBS

Should American taxpayers be compelled to subsidize Fox News or The Wall Street Journal’s editorial page? The very absurdity of the question prompts an obvious answer. The renewed debate over taxpayer funding for National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), however, allows the question to provide helpful perspective.
