Has our economy emerged from the Obama slump to the Trump bump?  It increasingly appears so.  Consider that since World War II, the United States has averaged 3.3% economic growth per year.  Under Barack Obama, however, we never once reached 3% gross domestic product (GDP) growth in a year.  We've gone an entire decade without a single year of 3% growth, which has never happened in American history.  Under Donald Trump, however, we've already achieved 3% growth in the first two quarters of his presidency.  The U.S. Commerce Department announced last week that GDP…
