Image of the Day: Biden/Harris Is NOT the "Drill, Baby, Drill" Administration

Despite attempts to portray the Biden/Harris administration as friendly toward domestic U.S. energy producers, American Enterprise Institute's Benjamin Zycher highlights how that's simply not the case.  Zycher cogently distinguishes the deceptive metric of oil and natural gas production on federal lands - which is a trailing indicator from permits and exploration years old - from new permits granted, which better reflects current friendliness toward U.S. energy producers.  It's not a pretty picture for Biden/Harris apologists or the Harris campaign team:

CFIF Mobilizes Americans Opposed to the Obama Administration’s Title II Internet Power Grab Print

Campaign connects concerned citizens with the FCC to urge abandonment of the regulatory overreach pushed by previous Commission

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Center for Individual Freedom (CFIF) is mobilizing concerned Americans across the country who are opposed to the Obama-era Title II regulations that gave the federal government sweeping regulatory power over the internet.

Through national digital and activist engagement, CFIF is helping to connect Americans with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to call upon the Commissioners to fix the ill-conceived regulations passed on a party-line vote in 2015 under the previous Chairman.

The message concerned Americans are sending to the FCC points out the harms of the Title II approach and supports Chairman Pai’s current plan to repeal the Obama Administration’s power grab.

“The unprecedented regulatory power the Obama Administration imposed on the internet is smothering innovation, damaging the American economy and obstructing job creation.

“I urge the Federal Communications Commission to end the bureaucratic regulatory overreach of the internet known as Title II and restore the bipartisan light-touch regulatory consensus that enabled the internet to flourish for more than 20 years.

“The plan currently under consideration at the FCC to repeal Obama’s Title II power grab is a positive step forward and will help to promote a truly free and open internet for everyone.”

CFIF has long been a vocal opponent of the federal government micromanaging the internet and has actively engaged in past “Net Neutrality” proceedings from 2010 and 2014. CFIF’s long-standing position is that Title II public utility regulations imposed on the internet directly work against innovation, economic growth and individual liberty.

As CFIF Senior Vice President of Legal and Public Affairs Timothy Lee explained in the Washington Examiner yesterday, “Reducing regulatory uncertainty and government coercion will encourage private innovation and investment, ensuring that consumers enjoy the fruits of that investment and innovation and network jobs continue to flourish as they have for decades.”

Founded in 1998, CFIF is a constitutional and free-market advocacy organization.
